"Linking" cameras with multiple sensors

Is there a way to link or group cameras that have multiple sensors in one enclosure? For example: http://avigilon.com/products/video-surv ... or-camera/
I want to move them all at the same time, not one at a time.

Multisensor cameras are sets of usual cameras in fact. To model them you can create several cameras at one place. Copy and paste cameras to the same place.

You can move/rotate (in horizontal plane)/copy/change view area view of the group of cameras at the same time. Just select them by the Selection window, not by clicking. See Edit button group>Select/Edit


To activate separated cameras at one point use the Active camera combo-box on the Toolbar.


To model images from multisensor cameras the Monitor window is useful.

That works, but it breaks "Numerate cameras" since it sees each head as an individual camera.

"Numerate cameras" is flexible tool. You can numerate selected groups of cameras only, can correct results of automatic numeration. For example, you can select all cameras on the layout, then unselect cameras which are parts of multisensors cameras (Cam X.2, CamX,3, CamX.4, except CamX.1). Then check Selected only, then click Numerate. Then select each multisensor camera and numerate it individually. Or numerate cameras manually.



Thus, VideoCAD8 has not special tools for multisensor cameras, but available universal tools allow to model them. VideoCAD9 will have special tools in addition.
