it would be nice to have the most popular ip-cameras in the database. I.e. Axis, Mobotix.

All cameras in our camera database are tested by us. We plan to test other cameras.
But in the world there are a lot of cameras and we can't test all of them. Whatever cameras exist in the database, it will be always not enough.
You can test and add any cameras used in your projects by specifying their parameters. Please see Help system, chapters: Examples of work with VideoCAD and Table of camera models. It is good practice to test cameras so as to know their real capability.
It will be nice if you will publish results of your tests here. The most important parameters are light sensitivity and resolution.
