In VideoCAD10, working with layers and groups of cameras has become more convenient due to the Status bar at the bottom of the Graphics window with pop-op menus.

Starting from VideoCAD 10, results of 3D modeling of VideoCAD can be exported to a file of the open 3D format COLLADA. COLLADA files can be imported into a variety of 3D editors, including SketchUP, and converted to other 3D formats.

Thank you your question. You can model thermal cameras as well as in 2008. You can model pixel density and field-of-view as standard cameras. No special tools to model temperature difference and thermal contrast and it is not made in expected soon VideoCAD10. Possibility of modeling thermal contrast...
