Sorry for inconvenience.
It is not an error. Undo function has some limitations. Not all working information is kept in the undo buffer. It can't restore deleted cameras, but it can restore deleted constructions.
Please save your working project regularly.

Your engineers can use the Monitor window.
Place images from your cameras on monitors, then save these monitors containing several images together. It is convenient to include the images from monitors in the project documentation.

The problem is connected with complicated background, likely in dxf or dwg formats. Some features of the background is not supported by export module. Therefore your engineer could simplify the background in AutoCAD, delete unnecessary elements. As a rule no many elements are needed in VideoCAD for ...

It seems your project have very complicated background may be with non standard scale or complicated elements.
