Fixing resolutions or distances
As a result of changing the camera parameters ( lens focal length, sensor size, aspect ratio, vertical number of pixels), parameters on the Pixel density tab will be recalculated. Two ways of the recalculation are possible: recalculating distances at which the image from the camera will have a fixed value of pixel density, or recalculating the pixel density at fixed distances. Using the Main menu>Fix items you can fix pixel density thus the distances at which the image from the camera will have the fixed value of pixel density will be calculated. Or you can fix distances thus the pixel density at the fixed distances will be calculated.

Editing resolutions and distances
CCTV Design Lens Calculator allows to edit the values of distances and pixel density in the Table of regions on the Pixel density tab. You can enable editing by Main menu>Edit items. The same result can be obtained by clicking on any of the resolution or distance value in the Table of regions. Clicking on empty space of the table turns off editing.
When editing resolutions - the distances are recalculated, when you edit the distances - the resolutions are recalculated. The rows in the Table of regions are independent, in fact, in the Table there are 5 independent calculators of field-of-view and pixel density with the ability to generate independent models of images.

Using the Digital ZOOM slider you can magnify images with real resolution in the Resolution column of the Table of regions and in the particular view (small image) on the Screen.
As a result of the digital ZOOM the real image resolution is not changed.

Images on the Table of regions are small, so you can quickly evaluate the Pixel density and the Field-of-view size at various distances. In addition, it is possible to show any image in any size for more detailed consideration. For this purpose there is a separate scalable window - Screen on which you can display an image from any region in the Table of regions.
