Hello,

Is there a patch for Sketchup2017 exporting to CCTVCAD8.2.
There is one for Sketchup2016 but can not work in 2017, I have tried already.

I will look forward for the reaction.

Sorry for delay. I had to figure out

The plugin works as described in the manual.
But SketchUP changed term "Plugin" to "Extension".
Right directory for SketchUP 2017 is "C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017\ShippedExtensions"

You can just copy videocad.rbs to this directory and restart SketchUP, as described in the manual of the Plugin.

Or you can make a folder "videocad", place videocad.rbs to the folder and zip the folder.
Then rename obtained videocad.zip to videocad.rbz
After that you will be able to add this file to SketchUP as an extension using Main menu of SketchUP>Window>Extension manager>Install extension

You can also download the plugin for the second time and find videocad.rbz with additional instructions in the archive

You can face 2 problems:

1. Free SketchUP 2018 is now web based. But you can download previous free SketchUP Make here https://help.sketchup.com/en/article/60107 or here https://www.sketchup.com/download/all

2. If you can not get 3D Warehouse via SketchUP main menu, please find and download any 3D model from the 3D Warehouse directly https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/
Then open the downloaded 3D model file in SketchUP.

Starting from VideoCAD 9.1 you can import ready 3D models of objects and territories without using SketchUP. You can import 3D models from files: *.3ds, *.ase (3D Studio max), *.dae, *.xml (Collada), *.obj and more than twenty 3D formats. You can download 3D models in Collada format (*.dae) from free SketchUP 3D Warehouse library, use 3DS Max models from designer's libraries, 3D models from game model libraries, create 3D models in SketchUP, save them in *.dae and import in VideoCAD.

Aso it is possible to transform, colorize, incline 3D models. You can cut out parts from complex 3D models.

You can make 3D models in VideoCAD itself from constructions and other 3D models.

Starting from VideoCAD 10, results of 3D modeling of VideoCAD can be exported to a file of the open 3D format COLLADA. COLLADA files can be imported into a variety of 3D editors, including SketchUP, and converted to other 3D formats.
