New
Create a new project. Current project will be cleared.
Open
Open project from a file. If the last project was not saved, IP Camera CCTV Calculator will offer to save it.
Save
Save current project to a file.
Save as
Save project to a file under another name or in another directory.
In the appearing dialog box choose a filename and a directory to save it.
Import from VideoCAD project
Import to the current project the list of cameras from the VideoCAD project file (*.vc7 or *.vmp). Versions 4.XX, 5.XX, 6.XX, 7.XX are supported.
In the appearing dialog box choose a file of VideoCAD 7 (*.vc7) or VideoCAD 4..6 (*.vmp).
Before processing the file, in the appeared dialog box choose whether you wish to clear the current project or add cameras to the existing one.
The following parameters will be imported: Camera name, Layout name, Camera model name (version 6), color (version 6), image number of pixels (version 6), Frame rate (version 7).
Import from VideoCAD installed
Import to the current project the list of cameras from the VideoCAD installed on the same computer. Versions 4.XX, 5.XX, 6.XX, 7.XX are supported.
Before importing, in the appeared dialog box choose whether you wish to clear the current project or add cameras to the existing one.
The following parameters will be imported: Camera name, Layout name, Camera model name (version 6), color (version 6), image number of pixels (version 6), Frame rate (version 7).
Export to *.txt,*.csv,*.htm, *.rtf,*.xls
Export the table to any of the following formats: *.txt, *.csv, *.htm, *.rtf, *.xls. File format can be chosen in the dialog box appeared.
You can export selected table regions using pop-up menu.
Print full table or a selected region of the table. Print dialog box will open in which it is possible to adjust printing options.
You can set the page title for printing.

Set the page title for printing.
Exit
Exit the program.
Add
Add to the table a new camera with default parameters. After adding new camera, its parameters should be edited. You can edit parameters right in the table.
To select a cell, click on it. To edit, click on the selected cell once again.
It is convenient to edit several parameters on the Camera detail panel. Open the Camera detail panel by clicking [+] on the left of the row or by clicking on the Camera>Detail button on the Toolbar.
It is possible to copy cells from other cells or from MS Excel using standard copying and pasting. In this case number and types of copied cells must be identical with the destination cells.
Duplicate
Add to the table a copy of the selected row. New camera will be created. Parameters of the new camera will equal to the parameters of the selected camera.
Detail
Show/hide the Camera detail panel. On the Camera detail panel it is convenient to control and edit parameters of three video streams: Viewing, Recording and Alarm recording.
You can also show/hide the Camera detail panel by clicking [+] on the left of the row.

Delete
Delete selected row (camera).
Cut
Cut contents of selected cells to the clipboard.
The cut contents can be pasted to other cells of the table or to Excel table.
Copy
Copy contents of selected cells to the clipboard.
The copied contents can be pasted to other cells of the table or to Excel table.
Paste
Paste clipboard content to the selected cells.
The content can be copied from other cells or from Excel table. The number and types of copied cells must be identical with the destination cells.
Select all
Select all cells in the Table.
Recalculate
Recalculate all parameters in the table.
The parameters are calculated automatically at any changing parameters. Just in case by clicking this item you can force recalculation.
View – is a set, width and order of visible columns. Views also include the Ignore hidden columns menu item state.
In real projects there is no necessity to use all parameters. At various cases different parameter sets are necessary. You can hide unnecessary columns, place the rest columns in required order and save obtained view. After that at any moment you can restore the saved view, by selecting its name in the View list.
Fit to window
Compress/expand visible columns so that the table is placed completely in the window or restore normal width of columns.
Hide columns
Hide selected columns.
To select a column bring the cursor to the border between header and data of the column. The cursor should become down arrow. Click on this border.
To select several columns hold Ctrl. To select range of columns hold Shift or move the cursor, holding the left mouse button.
To show/hide any particular column:
| • | Click on the black triangle on the top-left corner of the table; |
| • | In the appeared menu choose Visible columns; |
| • | In the appeared list of all columns check or clear name of necessary columns. |
Freeze columns
Freeze columns, beginning from the left column up to selected one. Frozen columns will not be moved at horizontal scrolling of the table.
Save view
Save current table view. Dialog box will appear, in which you can specify view name. The name will appear in the View list.
Together with column states views include the Ignore hidden columns menu item state.

Delete a view, the name of which is displayed in the View list.

Ignore hidden columns
If this item is checked, then in the calculation always default values are used for the hidden columns, irrespective of real values in the hidden fields. For example, if the scene parameters are hidden, then always middle values (3) of scene activity and complexity are used in calculation. If B/W and Sound columns are hidden, then all cameras are considered as color cameras without sound traffic.
State of this item is saved and restored together with table structure in Views.
Show all columns
Show all columns including hidden ones.
To restore current View, select its name in the View list.
To show/hide any particular column:
